You'll be based in our Rotterdam office two days a week, working alongside a talented group of frontend developers, API specialists, and infrastructure experts. - Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Core (C#) and Python/Django;
- Implement microservices and event-driven architecture;
- Ensure code quality through clean code principles and SOLID design patterns;
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
- Work with database technologies such as Entity Framework, Django ORM, and AWS DynamoDB;
- Ensure security best practices are followed in application development;
- Collaborate with team members using Agile/Scrum methodology;
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers;
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions;
- Maintain observability and monitoring of backend services.
A nice assignment in Rotterdam from November 2025 to end of May 2026, for 36 hours per week. In this role, you can either work as a ZZP'er with an hourly rate of € 80 - € 85, or you can be employed via us under a flexible contract, for a salary that ranges from € 6000 to € 6500 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week). Please note that in order to be considered for this role, you need to be based in the Netherlands and fully eligible to work.
How we'll proceed. Within four working days we will let you know if you qualify for the position. We will schedule an introductory interview, either digitally or in-person. During this interview we will inform you as fully as possible about the vacancy, the company and the following steps in the procedure. After consulting with you, we will introduce you to our client and then continue to guide you through the application process. Functie eisen
* 5+ years of professional software development experience;* Strong knowledge of OOP, clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns;
* Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and async messaging;
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
* Proficiency in RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and OAuth2;
* Experience with Docker and containerized workflows;
* Understanding of security best practices and observability techniques;
* Proficient in .NET Core (C#) and Python (Django) stacks;
* Experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, etc.);
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team;
* Mentoring experience and capacity for independent feature deployment;
* Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and DevOps tooling.
