Job Description
You will join the Diagnostics department, part of our customers After Sales. Your focus: the development and testing of diagnostic content for the industry-leading DAVIE diagnostic tool. As a technical expert, you are the driving force behind the implementation of the ZF Bootloader Update functionality.
This means you will decisively realize the following responsibilities:
- You analyze the diagnostic documentation provided by Product Development.
- You independently develop the diagnostic content in Grade-X (OTX and ODX).
- You thoroughly test and validate the developed content, both on the test bench and on the truck itself.
- You report clearly and proactively on the progress and status to management.
Your work delivers visible success in the form of concrete deliverables:
- A solid Requirements Specification (for ZF bootloader and security).
- Crucial DAVIE Tool Enhancements (implementation of the bootloader update flow, integration with the backend certificate authority, and improved error handling).
- A robust Test & Validation Plan.
- Clear technical documentation (developer guidelines and the security compliance checklist).

To achieve maximum results in this role, we expect you to bring the following expertise:
- A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Development, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrable experience with diagnostic systems, specifically with the OTX and ODX (Grade-X) standards.
- Experience working according to the Agile/Scrum methodology.
