Informatie
On behalf of our client, Unilever, we are seeking four dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analysts to support their global transformation program in Amsterdam. This is an opportunity to join a world-class team and drive transformation in a fast-paced and evolving sector, leveraging cutting-edge technology to make a tangible business impact.
As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business process knowledge and systems expertise. You will ensure that data, processes, and solutions are aligned as Unilever deploys a new SAP S/4HANA landscape, which is integrated with other (specialist) tools.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, map, and validate detailed data requirements, system integrations, and process designs, ensuring systems are configured to meet business requirements.
While the core of the role is the same, we are looking for four specialists, each with deep functional and technical knowledge in one of the following domains:
- 1. Business Analyst – Finance
- Focus: Functional and technical understanding of SAP systems for financial control and planning.
- Process Knowledge: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Assets (AA), Cash Management, Taxation, and costing.
- System Experience: Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Finance modules.
- 2. Business Analyst – Manufacturing
- Focus: Functional and technical understanding of manufacturing systems.
- Process Knowledge: Production planning, manufacturing execution, Quality Management, plant maintenance, and logistics integration.
- System Experience: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integrations with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and shop floor systems.
- 3. Business Analyst – Supply & Demand Planning
- Focus: Functional and technical understanding of systems for supply and demand planning.
- Process Knowledge: Demand forecasting, inventory optimization, S&OP, and the integration of external data (like weather, promotions, and POS data).
- System Experience: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and planning tools such as Kinaxis.
- 4. Business Analyst – R&D
- Focus: Functional and technical understanding of R&D systems.
- Process Knowledge: Product life cycle management (PLM), New Product Introduction (NPI), recipe management, packaging & artwork, and regulatory compliance.
- System Experience: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and PLM systems such as Centric PLM.
Shared Responsibilities (for all roles)
- System & Data Analysis: Mapping data requirements, attributes, and flows. Ensuring the correct configuration of SAP S/4HANA and specialized tools (e.g., Centric, Kinaxis, MES).
- Master Data: Collaborating with data teams to implement a simplified ("light") MDG model.
- Integration: Supporting the definition and documentation of end-to-end data and process integrations.
- Documentation, Testing & Training:
- Producing clear documentation (process flows, functional specs, data mapping sheets, test scripts).
- Executing UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Delivering training sessions to end-users and IT colleagues.
- Stakeholder Management: Acting as a bridge between the business (SMEs) and technical teams.
Functie-eisen
Common Qualifications and Skills (for all roles)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years’ experience as a Systems or Business Analyst, preferably in data integration or ERP implementation within your specialization.
- Demonstrated expertise within the consumer products industry.
- Excellent analytical skills: the ability to translate business processes into system and data requirements.
- Strong capability in data mapping and modelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio.
