In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines used for treating vegetable seeds. You will ensure that seeds are properly disinfected so that they remain free of fungi and bacteria. You will work according to established protocols to guarantee quality. In addition, you will coordinate the logistical planning around the machines to ensure optimal capacity utilization. You will also be involved in coating seeds, carefully applying crop protection products.
Your responsibilities
- Inspecting and monitoring the processes.
- Keeping the machines and the working environment clean.
- Resolving minor malfunctions.
- Identifying and discussing areas for improvement.
- Mixing and combining seed treatment products.
- Delivering and removing seeds with a reach truck.
- Supporting other departments and activities when necessary.
Working hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Full-time employment: 38 hours per week
You will be working at the Seed Connect Centre (SCC), where the Coating department focuses on treating and coating large batches of vegetable seeds. The team consists of five experienced colleagues who work with large machines and reach trucks on a daily basis. Quality, safety, and innovation are central to this company.
Wat wij vragen- Vocational education and training (VET) level of working and thinking.
- Affinity with technology and machines.
- In possession of a forklift or reach truck certificate.
- You are fluent in Dutch.
- You are accurate, physically strong, and enjoy working safely and cleanly.
- You can work both independently and as part of a team.
- You are computer literate.
- Gross hourly wage: €16.47 – €21.12.
- Varied role in a technical and modern working environment.
