Functieomschrijving
The Brokerage is primarily responsible for maintaining and processing customs files for the purpose of the customs process associated with the import and export of the company shipments. In addition, the Rater performs various activities for customs-related work. All duties are carried out taking into account the quality and service level requirements of the compnay and legal requirements in general (AEO).
Which are your main responsibilities?
- Be responsible for timely execution of daily work and periodic reporting as well as, strict compliance with all regulations.
- Stay ahead of the curve by staying informed about changes in customs regulations and industry trends, proactively adapting our operations for success.
- Harness your expertise to navigate complex documentation requirements and maintain meticulous records.
- Forge strong partnerships with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs agents to optimize shipments and overcome challenges with ease.
- Elevate the customer experience by delivering exceptional service and swiftly resolving inquiries and issues.
Functie-eisen
- Be in possession of a declarant's and/or assistant declarant's diploma.
- Deep knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and import/export procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Speak English (C1 / C2) and Dutch (C1 / C2).
