Bicycle Mechanic

As a Bicycle Mechanic in Amsterdam, you work through Staffice directly for our client in a busy bicycle shop and workshop. You start your workday by checking scheduled maintenance and incoming repairs. Throughout the day, you perform diagnostics on various city bikes and e-bikes, resolving technical issues efficiently. You advise customers at the counter regarding repairs and maintenance, ensuring every cyclist leaves with a well-functioning bike.

Tasks

• Performing maintenance and technical repairs on city bikes, e-bikes, and cargo bikes

• Diagnosing electronic and mechanical issues accurately

• Advising customers at the counter on repairs, parts, and proper maintenance

• Assembling, adjusting, and testing new bicycles for the showroom

• Registering used parts and completed repair tasks in the system

• Keeping the workshop clean, organized, and safe

We are looking for

• Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic or a completed technical education

• Solid knowledge of e-bike systems and mechanical bicycle components

• Availability to work both full-time or part-time, including periodic weekend shifts

• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset

• A structured, neat, and independent way of working

• Good command of English
