The collaboration model emphasizes a strong partnership between the Sr. Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer and the Infrastructure Architect. Working closely together, they ensure that business needs are met while keeping technical feasibility in mind. This teamwork is crucial for successfully gathering and defining requirements that drive effective solutions across OT and IT systems.
Here are some of your responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to document processes requiring OT to IT integration and identify pain points.
- Facilitate workshops to clarify use cases related to OT/IT convergence.
- Ensure requirements are clear, measurable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure Architect to translate business requirements into functional requirements.
- Co-author functional specifications that align OT operational needs with IT capabilities.
- Define acceptance criteria and address non-functional requirements, including performance and cybersecurity.
- Model current and target OT/IT processes using BPMN.
- Prioritize requirements based on business value, impact, and feasibility.
- Verify the feasibility of all requirements within the target IT/OT landscape and ensure compliance with architecture governance.
- Support change management activities to facilitate the successful adoption of integrated OT/IT solutions.

Functie eisen
* Demonstrated experience in business analysis, specifically for OT/IT integration projects such as SCADA, IoT, industrial automation, and asset management.* Strong skills in facilitating workshops and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
* Proficiency in requirements engineering, including process modeling (BPMN) and writing functional specifications.
* Experience in collaborating with architects to develop functional requirements and explore solution options.
* Knowledge of enterprise IT/OT landscapes, including security and compliance aspects within OT/IT environments.
* Excellent communication abilities to simplify and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Knowledge of ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148 standards for systems and software engineering and life cycle processes related to requirements engineering is highly advantageous.
