Category Manager Procurement - Logistics (Temp)

Are you a strategic negotiator with experience in logistics procurement? We are looking for a Category Manager Logistics Service Providers to take ownership of one of the largest procurement categories, with an annual spend of at least €250 million. In this role, you'll be a key business partner for the Logistics Warehousing and New Infra teams, collaborating with major logistics players such as CEVA to develop sourcing strategies, optimize supplier relationships, and shape logistics roadmaps.

With a vast customer base of millions, we are one of the most recognized brands in the region. Their goal is to provide a seamless and customer-centric online shopping experience, combining innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in every aspect of their operations.

Your tasks and responsibilities are:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for logistics services, including warehousing, packaging, and return processing;
• Manage a portfolio of logistics service providers (LSPs) to ensure efficient and cost-effective service delivery;
• Lead and negotiate large-scale contracts with major logistics providers, ensuring competitive pricing, service levels, and long-term value;
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers like CEVA, and other logistics partners;
• Manage performance reviews and supplier performance metrics to ensure operational excellence and compliance;
• Act as the strategic business partner for the Logistics Warehousing and New Infra teams, advising on procurement strategies and logistics solutions;
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Heads of Departments, Directors, and Senior Executives, to align logistics strategies with business goals;
• Provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership on supplier risks, opportunities, and procurement trends;
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and value creation through supplier partnerships.

Temporary Assignment for 40 hours via a contract with Independent Recruiters;
Salary: 8500 gross per month based on fulltime employment.
Hybrid working: two fixed office days (Tuesday and Thursday), the rest can be remote.
