What You'll Do
As an Allround Hairdresser / Hairstylist, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise while helping our clients look and feel their best.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing high-quality women's and men's haircuts, styling and finishing services.
Offering professional consultations and recommending hairstyles suited to clients' preferences, hair types and lifestyles.
Performing modern men's grooming services, including beard trimming and shaping.
Building strong relationships with clients and encouraging repeat visits through exceptional service.
Advising clients on appropriate haircare products and treatments.
Staying informed about modern haircutting techniques, hairstyles and trends.
Working collaboratively with our friendly team to maintain NYSH's high standards of customer service.
Experience with hair coloring, highlights or balayage is an advantage, but not essential.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and customer-focused hairdresser who takes pride in their work.
Essential requirements:
At least 3 years of professional experience working as a hairdresser or hairstylist.
Strong skills in women's and men's haircuts and hairstyling.
Experience in men's grooming, including beard trimming and shaping.
Confidence in conducting client consultations and recommending suitable styles.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
A friendly, professional personality and genuine passion for customer satisfaction.
Good communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
Dutch language skills.
Experience in hair coloring, highlights or other advanced hair techniques.
Experience working with international clients.
