We are Suvai B.V., a Indian restaurant, looking for a passionate
Independent Working Chef Level I to join our kitchen team. Are you a
skilled chef who thrives in the kitchen? As our chef, you will be responsible
for the preparation and presentation of dishes and meal components. You
will work under the guidance of our head chef or owner but can also
independently manage the kitchen when needed. Additionally, you will
collaborate with fellow chefs and, if required, supervise kitchen assistants.
You will follow established guidelines regarding ingredients, recipes,
working methods, and visual presentation. Our restaurant is located at
address Van Eysingalaan 388, 3527VW, Utrecht . Interested? Please

Tasks

-Selecting, preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.).

-Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and making adjustments as needed.

-Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.

-Supervising the work of kitchen assistants(hulpkracht) and making
corrections where necessary.

-Maintaining inventory, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries.

-Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations.

-Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.

-Providing input on menu composition, changes, and methods.

Requirements

- You take independent initiative and act solution-oriented.

- You work with conviction and dare to take responsibility.

- MBO-3 Diploma. (If you don’t meet the requirements, please still contact us to see what we can

do.)

- Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
