Industrial Painter/Coater

Does the profession of industrial spray painter hold no secrets for you, or would you like to learn it? We are looking for an industrial coater for a specialist in industrial coatings and corrosion protection in's-Gravendeel. Varied work with high-quality coating techniques, and the opportunity to grow into an assisting foreman.

You will be working with a specialist in industrial coatings, focused on protecting installations against corrosion with high-quality glass flake coatings based on epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester. These coatings significantly extend the lifespan of installations, with less maintenance and lower costs for the customer. The company guides the entire process: from blasting to the final coating application and quality control, for major industrial clients. There are periods of busyness that require flexibility, interspersed with quieter periods.

As an industrial coater, you apply various industrial coatings, such as epoxies and glass flake coatings, and you know exactly which spray technique and spray/mixing equipment is needed for the desired result. You perform quality checks on the final result. For some projects, you will be away from home for a few days and stay in a hotel — all costs for this will be reimbursed by the company. Because you regularly travel to locations, a driver's license B is mandatory.

• Spraying industrial coatings (epoxy, glass flake, etc.)
• Determining and setting the correct spray technique and equipment
• Performing quality checks on the final result
• Participating in projects on location, sometimes multi-day
• Working carefully according to safety and quality standards
• Collaborating with colleagues, customers, and contractors at various levels

• Work and thinking level in a technical direction
• Experience with industrial spraying of coatings/paint is a plus, or willing to learn
• Driving license B required
• Own housing near 's-Gravendeel
• Flexible, independent and a strong sense of responsibility
• Enthusiastic, attention to detail and a team player who switches at different levels
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language (oral and written)

• Gross hourly wage: starting at € 19.00 (depending on experience)
• Travel and accommodation (hotel) fully reimbursed by the company for multi-day projects
  8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km
