What you'll be doing
As a Machine Operator, you play an important role in the food production process. In this position, everything revolves around quality, continuity, and technology. On a daily basis, you work with modern packaging machines that process raw materials into semi-finished and finished products. The Machine Operator ensures that the correct quantities are produced, that the machines run optimally, and that the products meet strict quality and hygiene standards. The workday starts by reviewing the production schedule and preparing the production line. As a Machine Operator, you operate, fill, and adjust the machines during product changeovers. You independently resolve minor malfunctions so that production can continue without interruption. In the case of larger technical issues, you collaborate with the technical department and also perform basic maintenance yourself. Keeping the machines and the workplace clean is also part of your daily responsibilities. Within the team, you have a responsible role. You maintain oversight, identify deviations in the process, and intervene when necessary. The Machine Operator works closely with fellow operators, production staff, and the technical department. You report to the production team leader and actively contribute ideas for process improvements. Due to this broad responsibility, there is room to develop yourself and grow within the organization.
