For our client, we are looking for a MIG/MAG Welder / Steel Fabricator. You will work on advanced steel structures used in sectors including industrial construction, logistics, data centres and energy. The work takes place in a modern and well-organised production facility equipped with professional machinery, tools and lifting equipment. Quality, craftsmanship, teamwork and safety are important parts of the working environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Independently reading technical drawings.
- Assembling steel structures according to technical drawings.
- MIG/MAG welding of steel components and structures.
- Producing columns, beams, trusses and more complex steel components.
- Checking dimensions and inspecting the quality of your own work.
- Working according to applicable quality and safety standards.
- Several years of experience as a MIG/MAG welder and steel fabricator.
- Experience in welding steel structures.
- Ability to independently read technical drawings and assemble structures from drawings.
- A valid welding certificate for fillet welds.
- Good communicative English skills.
- An accurate, independent and quality-focused working attitude with attention to safety; experience with heavy or complex steel structures is an advantage.
- A valid category B driving licence.
Good salary:
- Per week: € 624,-
- Per hour: € 21,-
The net weekly salary is after deduction of housing and health insurance costs. You work in 2 shifts.
Plus extras:
- Weekly holiday pay: 8.33% of your gross salary.
