As a Machine Operator at Johma, you and your team ensure that supermarkets across the country are stocked with the most famous salads in the Netherlands daily. We work hard, but the atmosphere is typically warm and welcoming. In this role, you are the backbone of the production process. You make sure the production lines run smoothly and that the quality of our salads remains consistently high.
Your main responsibilities include:

• Operating & monitoring machinery: You set up the production machines correctly, monitor the process, and make adjustments where necessary.
• Quality control: You perform strict quality checks, ensuring only the best salads leave the factory.
• Process continuity: You ensure the timely supply and refilling of packaging materials so the line never grinds to a halt.
• Hygiene & safety: In the food sector, hygiene is everything. You keep your production line spotless and safe.
• Technical collaboration: You spot malfunctions early and coordinate directly with the Technical Department to optimize processes.

You are a hands-on professional who works accurately and stays level-headed when unexpected situations arise. You also meet the following criteria:

• You are solution-oriented and can adapt quickly if a production line stalls.
• Experience in production or the food industry is a major plus, but a strong motivation to learn the trade quickly is just as valuable.
• You speak English and/or Dutch fluently.
• You are flexible and fully prepared to work in a 3-shift rota.
