Powdercoater

As a powder coater, you apply a sleek powder coating to metal parts at a metal manufacturing company in the Netherlands. You earn €17.00 to €22.00 gross per hour, depending on your experience and the client. Do you need accommodation? We arrange that for you, always with your own bedroom. We discuss your experience and wishes, align your schedule and work environment, and introduce you to the best-fitting client.

You will work at a metal company in the Netherlands. This could be a powder coating company, steel construction company, machinery manufacturer, or metal producer. The size of the team and who you report to varies depending on the client. We'll discuss this with you beforehand. We'll determine which client is the best fit together. First, we'll discuss your experience and preferences, including your schedule and work environment. Then we'll introduce you to the client that suits you best. If you're hired, you'll start working there, with the goal of you staying there long-term.

The exact tasks you perform depend on the client. Your work typically consists of the following:

• You hang components on the conveyor belt or rack and remove them after the oven
• You prepare components by degreasing, blasting or chemically pre-treating them
• You mask holes, threads and surfaces that should not receive coating
• You spray powder with a hand gun or operate a (semi)automatic installation
• You check layer thickness, color and finish and correct any defects
• You perform color changes and keep the spray booth clean

Practical

• Location: with one client in the Netherlands. We'll determine which one together
• Schedule: day, 2- or 3-shift work. We'll agree on this in advance, so you know what to expect from the start
• Work environment: a powder coating company, steel construction company, machinery manufacturer or metal producer. We'll also agree on this in advance
• Working conditions: these vary by client and we'll discuss them with you beforehand. Be prepared for standing work, dust, heat from the oven and lifting up to approximately 20 kg. You'll work in protective clothing and often with a face mask
• Start date: to be agreed upon

• You have experience with powder coating or industrial spraying, for example with wet paint
• You can distinguish colors well
• You are open to shift work. The more flexible you are, the more clients will suit you
• You speak English at an understandable level
• In possession of an EU passport — a residence permit is not sufficient

Nice to have

• Safety certificate (VCA or equivalent)
• Experience with blasting or surface preparation

• €17.00 to €22.00 gross per hour, depending on your experience and the client
• Need housing? We'll arrange it for you, always with your own bedroom. Your contribution will be deducted from your salary. Already have your own place? That's fine too
• Contract via EU Force, with the intention of a long-term employment relationship
• Weekly payment
• Minimum 8% holiday allowance and minimum 24 holiday days
• Minimum 23.4% pension contribution on the pension basis, of which you contribute 7.5% (deducted before tax)
• Health insurance via EU Force possible, costs will be deducted from your salary
• Own transport preferred, with travel expense allowance. Transport via EU Force is possible for a personal contribution
