For this role, it is important that you live within a 1-hour drive of the production location in Drachten or that you are willing and able to relocate at short notice.
Functieomschrijving
As a Product Industrialization Engineer – Molding, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to improving people's health and well-being by connecting innovation and industrialization. You'll be responsible for specifying and implementing injection molding systems for mass production, ensuring they meet product and process requirements. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and external suppliers to develop, implement, and optimize injection molding solutions for consumer healthcare products. This position is based in Drachten, in a dynamic, high-tech environment focused on continuous improvement, sustainability, and manufacturing excellence
Functie-eisen
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in applied mathematics, applied physics, or econometrics. Or you have a degree in mechanical engineering with several years of relevant experience.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the production of (plastic) parts, preferably in a mass production environment for consumer products.
- You are trained or certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent, such as DMAIC).
- You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- In this role, you'll work with proactive, hands-on problem solvers and be the complement that supports them with data.
- You can influence stakeholders, think in scenarios and work independently as well as in a team.
- You are motivated by innovation, collaboration with global suppliers and rapid product development.
