Productionworker

In this position, you work as part of a fixed team within a continuous production environment. Your focus is on making sure products are handled correctly, checked carefully and prepared for the next stage of the process.

You monitor what is happening during your shift, register production information and make sure the right materials are available when needed. If you notice a quality issue or something unusual in the process, you report it immediately. A tidy, safe and organised workplace is also an important part of the job.

Previous production experience is not necessary. You will start with internal training and be linked to an experienced buddy. This colleague will show you the work in practice and help you learn the machines, procedures and safety standards at your own pace.

Your responsibilities

• Monitoring product quality
• Packing and preparing finished products
• Supplying materials to the production process
• Recording output, progress and waste
• Spotting and reporting irregularities
• Helping maintain a clean and safe production area
• Working closely with your team to keep the process moving
• Learning to work independently with the production equipment

Your working schedule

The company uses a fixed rotating system with morning, afternoon and night shifts.

5 shifts from 06:00 to 14:00

5 shifts from 14:00 to 22:00On Friday, this shift runs until 00:00

4 shifts from 22:00 to 06:00

After finishing the final night shift on Friday morning, you are free until Monday afternoon at 14:00.

The workplace is located in the The Hague region. Due to the early and late shift times, it is important that you can arrange your own transport to work.

You will work for a stable and established production company where new employees are trained for the long term.

The company places strong emphasis on proper onboarding. Experienced colleagues help you learn the work and you receive plenty of time to become familiar with the different tasks and production processes.

Employees who show commitment and want to develop are given opportunities to take on additional responsibilities or move towards a more technical position.

After twelve months working through Carrière, you will transfer directly to the client.

• You speak Dutch and/or English
• You are available for all three shifts
• You can travel independently to the work location at all required times

• €18.11 gross per hour, including the 20% shift allowance and ADV allowance
• A daily 1-hour break, with 30 minutes paid by the employer
• An average of 38 hours per week
• A fully paid internal training programme

• €0.23 per kilometre travel allowance
