Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong technical background? Do you enjoy working on product quality, process improvement and solving quality issues at the source? For an innovative technical production environment in Hapert, we are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who can take responsibility for quality and work closely with different departments.

🔧 What will you do?

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be involved in the development of new products from an early stage. You advise colleagues on quality and manufacturability and make sure that quality requirements are properly translated into the production process.

You will proactively initiate, prepare and carry out activities to secure and continuously improve product and process quality. You work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales and Production and regularly communicate with customers about product quality and the handling of complaints.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting new product development from a quality and manufacturability perspective
• Identifying, analysing and solving quality issues and initiating structural improvements
• Monitoring and improving quality processes and ensuring that quality requirements are properly implemented
• Working with quality systems such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Applying improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
• Coordinating quality-related activities with different departments and stakeholders
• Maintaining direct contact with customers regarding quality issues and complaints

🎓 What do we expect from you?

• A Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering / Technical Business Administration, or a comparable technical background
• Several years of experience in a similar Quality Engineering position
• Experience with quality management systems such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is preferred
• Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma is an advantage
• Experience coordinating activities and working with colleagues from different departments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Dutch is preferred; German is an advantage

You are comfortable moving between the production floor, engineering and management and know how to bring different departments together around quality improvements.
