Informatie
You're the one who doesn't walk away from a machine until it runs perfectly. As a Senior Service Engineer, you install, test and maintain advanced automation systems at customer sites. You're also the go-to person for junior colleagues. The work is technically deep, you work independently and no two weeks are the same.
Waar je komt te werken:You'll join a growing machine builder in the Breda region. The company develops, builds and installs automated systems for clients in high-tech sectors. Here, mechanics, electrical engineering and control systems come together in complete custom-built systems. The organisation is compact, with short lines between engineering, production and service. The team is committed and grows with demand. The atmosphere is informal and the standards are professional. You get trust and room to make your own decisions, along with the responsibility that comes with them. If you set high standards and enjoy digging deep, you'll feel at home here.
Wat je gaat doen:As a Senior Service Engineer, you're the technical link between the system and the customer. You install and commission machines on site at the customer's location. You configure and test them, and run the functional acceptance tests together with the customer. Once a system is running, you make sure it keeps running. You carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and trace faults across mechanical, electrical and control systems. Not every problem gets solved on site: you also support customers by phone and remotely. Within your own team, you're the expert people turn to. You support production and engineering with your hands-on knowledge and mentor junior engineers. You work largely independently, often on complex system-level issues. That takes patience and a systematic approach, because guesswork doesn't cut it here. You document your work carefully and advise customers on optimisation. You work day shifts, 40 hours a week, and regularly travel to customer sites.
