Over de functie

Why just write code when you can shape how an entire machine works?

Imagine joining a high-tech company where the software architecture isn't set in stone. Where your technical decisions matter, your ideas are valued, and you get to build something that will shape the future of advanced machine technology.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Machine Control in Eindhoven who combines strong hands-on development skills with a passion for software architecture and complex machine systems.

You'll design and develop software, make important architectural decisions, and connect software with hardware, automation and machine control. Working closely with mechanical, electrical and systems engineers, you'll help build a scalable software environment.

Not just another engineering job. A chance to shape the technology behind the machines!

Wat vragen wij van jou

You're the engineer who wants to understand the entire machine, not just your part of the code.

You enjoy solving complex technical challenges, taking ownership and turning ambitious engineering ideas into reliable, working systems.

What do you bring?

  • Solid experience as a Senior, Lead or Principal Software Engineer in high-tech equipment, machine building or industrial automation.

  • Experience with software architecture and complex technical systems.

  • Knowledge of machine control and software-hardware integration.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.

  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

  • Strong communication skills and a good command of English.

  • Availability for 32–40 hours per week.

Experience with motion control, robotics, PLC technology, embedded systems or machine vision is a plus.

Most importantly? You combine technical depth with the confidence to make decisions, challenge existing approaches and remain hands-on when things get complicated.

Wat bieden wij jou

Big engineering challenges deserve great opportunities. And great benefits!

You'll join a growing high-tech organisation where your technical expertise truly matters. You'll have the freedom to shape software architecture, influence engineering decisions and help develop the software domain for the years ahead.

Here's what's in it for you:

  • €6,000 – €8,000 gross per month, depending on experience.

  • A 32–40 hour working week.

  • An electric company car.

  • Up to 2 days working from home per week.

  • Flexible working hours.

  • 28 days off: 25 annual leave days plus 3 predetermined additional days.

  • A pension scheme with two-thirds of the contribution paid by the employer.

  • A business laptop and phone.

  • Opportunities for technical training and development.

  • An informal work environment with short communication lines, team lunches and activities.

The best part? You won't just maintain existing software. You'll help decide how the next generation of complex machines is built.

Solliciteren

Ready to build more than software?

If you're an experienced Software Engineer looking for more technical ownership, exciting machine-control challenges and the freedom to shape architecture, we'd love to hear from you!

Leave your details below and let's have a conversation.

No lengthy application needed to get started. We'll personally reach out, tell you more about the opportunity and explore whether it's the right next step for you.
