Are you passionate about precision engineering and would you like to work on components used in the aerospace industry? As a Tool Grinder, you'll play an important role in the machining process by ensuring cutting tools are manufactured, maintained and optimised to the highest standards. If you currently work as a CNC Machinist and are looking to specialise further, this could be an excellent next step in your career.
OrganisatieOur client is a leading aerospace manufacturer producing complex aircraft components where precision is essential. Within the Toolshop, cutting tools are designed, manufactured and maintained in-house to support production. You'll work with advanced machinery, specialised software and experienced colleagues in an environment where quality and continuous improvement are part of the daily routine.
Functie
- Develop and improve new and existing cutting tools, including milling cutters and drills
- Program grinding cycles using ANCA software
- Program measuring routines using Zoller Genius
- Inspect and measure cutting tools
- Perform CNC grinding on ANCA grinding machines
- Carry out conventional tool grinding when required
- Manage tooling and material inventory
- Work in accordance with the strict quality standards of the aerospace industry
- MBO-level education or equivalent technical working and thinking level
- Experience in machining or tool grinding is an advantage
- CNC Machinists who want to develop into Tool Grinders are encouraged to apply
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Analytical, accurate and solution-oriented
- A proactive team player who can set priorities
- Available to work in a two-shift schedule
- A gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €4,200, depending on your experience
- A challenging role in a high-tech aerospace manufacturing environment
