Truck Body Builder

As a truck Assembly Technician , you will work in the workshop on the construction of various bodies for light and heavy trucks, both for open and closed applications. The frames arrive ready-made; your task is to build the rest of the body on these, using work drawings and clear instructions.

You will be working at a specialized truck Assembly compagny in Venlo, focused on the construction of light and heavy trucks, both for open and closed applications. In addition, repairs, renovations, and maintenance of tail lifts are performed. The company is customer-oriented and places great value on accuracy and quality. You will join a young team of approximately 8 people, where sufficient guidance and room for personal development is provided.

As a truck Assembly Technician , you will work in the workshop on various processes. You build different types of bodies using working drawings and clear instructions. The focus of the role is on assembly and electrical systems: you assemble aluminum, plastic, wood, or steel parts, and connect systems such as low voltage, hydraulics, and pneumatics - with specific extensive experience in 12V/24V electrical systems. A versatile role in which you are broadly deployable and have the opportunity to further develop through courses. You work in the day shift between 07:00 and 16:00, with flexible start and end times negotiable.

• Extensive experience required with 12V/24V electrical systems and assembly
• Building different types of bodies
• Working with working drawings and instructions
• Assembling aluminum, plastic, wood, or steel parts
• Connecting systems: low voltage, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Participating in repairs, renovations, and maintenance of tail lifts

• Affinity with assembly and electrical engineering
• Eager to learn and motivated
• Extensive experience with assembly and electrical work (12V/24V), welding work is a plus
• Enjoys working with hands and shows own initiative
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language (oral and written)

• Gross hourly wage: € 18.22 - € 21.25 (based on 38 hours per week)
• 5% extra allowance on top of your hours
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km
