For our client, we are looking for a Warehouse Worker Safety Equipment at an industrial location in the Rotterdam Europoort area. Before starting their work, employees come to the Safety Shop to collect their personal protective equipment (PPE). You make sure everyone receives the correct safety equipment and that the stock is always up to date.

The industrial sector operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Therefore, we expect you to be flexible when it comes to working hours, shift work and working weekends.

What will you do?

As a Warehouse Operative – Safety Equipment, you make sure all required safety equipment is available on time. You hand out the correct equipment, take it back in and keep track of the stock.

Your responsibilities include:

• Issuing and receiving personal protective equipment (PPE);
• Providing helmets, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, coveralls and other safety equipment;
• Checking that employees receive the correct safety equipment;
• Registering incoming and outgoing safety equipment in the system;
• Monitoring and checking stock levels;
• Identifying when safety equipment needs to be replenished;
• Keeping the Safety Shop clean, organised and tidy;
• Answering colleagues' questions about safety equipment;
• Accurately processing all information in the system.

You will have regular contact with colleagues and play an important role in maintaining safety at the site. No day is the same!

Working days and hours

You will work full-time according to a continuous shift schedule. Since the industrial sector operates 24/7, working hours may vary.

You must therefore be flexible and willing to work day, evening and night shifts. Working on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays may also be part of your schedule.

Flexibility is essential for this position. You must be willing to work different shifts and adjust your working hours according to the schedule and planning.

Experience in a warehouse, logistics, industrial environment or working with safety equipment is an advantage, but not required. We value a positive work attitude and a strong sense of responsibility above all.
