Informatie

Introductie

You work at one client in the Netherlands. This can be a distribution centre, webshop warehouse or wholesaler, or a production company with its own warehouse. Think of food, non-food, e-commerce or cold and frozen storage.

Warehouse work is broad, so we start with a conversation about what you can do and what you want. Then we look at which client suits you best and introduce you there. If you are hired, you start working there, with the aim that you stay. The size of the team and who supervises you differ per client. We tell you this in advance.

Wat je gaat doen:

Your exact tasks depend on the client. Your work usually includes the following:

  • You pick orders using a handheld scanner or a picking list
  • You pack products and prepare shipments for dispatch
  • You load and unload trucks, by hand or with a pallet truck
  • You receive goods, check quantities and damage, and store them
  • You restock locations and keep your workplace tidy and safe
  • You drive a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other warehouse vehicle

Practical:

  • Location: at one client in the Netherlands. We decide together which one
  • Schedule: day shift, 2 or 3 shifts, or weekend work. We agree on this together in advance, so you know where you stand when you start. Prefer to work days only? Then we look for a client with day shifts
  • Work environment: for example food, non-food, e-commerce or cold and frozen storage. We also agree on this together in advance
  • Working conditions: these differ per client and we discuss them with you in advance. Expect standing, walking and working at a set pace. At some clients you also lift (up to approx. 25 kg) or work in the cold. Safety shoes are usually required
  • Start: by agreement
Wat wij vragen:
  • In possession of an EU passport — a residence permit is not sufficient
  • You have warehouse experience, for example in order picking, packing or loading and unloading
  • You speak English well enough to communicate clearly at work

Whatever else you bring decides which client you start with and at what wage.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with a handheld scanner or warehouse system
  • A forklift, reach truck or order picker certificate
  • A safety certificate (VCA or equivalent)
Wat wij bieden:
  • Indication: €15 to €18 gross per hour. Your exact wage depends on your experience and the client, and can be higher or lower
  • Need housing? Then we arrange it for you, always with your own bedroom. Your own contribution is deducted from your wage. Already have your own place to live? That's fine too
  • Contract via EU Force, with the intention of long-term employment
  • Weekly payment
  • At least 8% holiday pay and at least 24 holiday days
  • Pension: at least 23.4% premium on the pensionable salary, of which you contribute 7.5% (deducted before tax)
  • Health insurance via EU Force possible, the costs are deducted from your wage
  • Own transport preferred, with travel allowance. Transport via EU Force is possible for a personal contribution
