Your tasks:


Account Manager is responsible for new customer acquisition and sales growth for the (key) accounts assigned to him/her by creating win/win value propositions to customers and prospects. The job entails going through the complete sales cycle of account management, from building a value proposition and prospect generation to closing sales and follows up on deliveries and financial process. Key is building up a long term, sustainable relationship with key accounts to foster future growth.
Build and update forecast as input for the business planning cycle and order fulfillment.
Account manager which is mainly visiting prospects and customers has the support of the back office and staff functions.
Maintaining a high level of product knowledge, Account Manager serves as a champion for his business opportunities and is capable of advocating the solution , you’ll develop an understanding of customers’ needs and recommend the most suitable solutions to meet their requirements. You are identifying original and innovative approaches and market opportunities in our business in cooperation with clients. You are participator in projects with our customers and act as a sparring partner. You are part of our sales team and will contribute to improve our way of working. You assure a strong and long-lasting relationship with our customers and you are capable to “close the deal”.

Particularly in the field of (chilled) warehouse & industry lighting, it is essential that the Account Manager understands the different stakeholders in the sales cycles, and understands the products and solutions based SSL for large scale installations.

 

Areas of responsibility:



• Turnover and margin responsible for the accounts
• Identify potential new clients and business opportunities and to persuade new customers to place business with the company : turnover and margin
• Build a forecast as input for the business planning cycle and order fulfillment
• Manage a pipeline of business opportunities and drive to closure
• Account management (contractual agreements, customer communication, visit reports, account plan, AR follow up)

Functie eisen

Your profile:

• You are a LED Lighting professional with a successful track record of achieving your targets. It’s a natural habit for you to focus on new and existing customers by sourcing, developing and selling our lighting solutions.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and (key) account management; product management experience is a plus.
• Technical affinity; experience in lighting or related field is preferred
• Thorough understanding of (chilled) warehouse & industry lighting, and a strong network in this area.
• Capable of making lighting designs in Dialux, Relux software
• Strong communication and commercial sales, outgoing personality, high integrity level
• Fluent in English in writing and verbal, German is a pre
