CNC Bender | Up to 55 hours per week possible

You prefer to work on a modern press brake with alternating custom work — no standard products but each series unique. As a Press Brake Operator, you will work at a specialized sheet metal processing company in Bergen op Zoom where craftsmanship and modern technology go hand in hand. Day shift, Friday off at 14:30, and a strong set of employment conditions.

You will be working at a specialized metalworking company in Bergen op Zoom with over 50 years of experience in the sector. The company produces exclusively custom work for clients in various industries and is among the top 3 in the Netherlands and top 10 in Europe in the field of sheet metal processing.

The factory is high-tech equipped with modern laser machines, press brakes, welding robots, and laser welding robots. With approximately 125 employees, it is a medium-sized family business with short lines of communication and an informal culture. There is a strong focus on personal development - training and courses are actively offered.

As a Press Brake Operator, you are responsible for bending and setting sheet metal in stainless steel, aluminum, and steel on modern Trumpf press brakes. You work with sheets typically 1 to 3 mm thick and operate press brakes ranging from 1 to 5 meters. Each product series is unique - you work based on working drawings and independently set up the machine for each new task.

You are part of a press brake team of approximately 10 colleagues where you can always go with questions. The work atmosphere is informal and collegial. You work in day shifts and the workweek ends on Friday at 14:30 - during busy periods, there is room for overtime up to a maximum of 55 hours per week.

Tasks:

• Setting up and operating Trumpf press brakes for bending stainless steel, aluminum, and steel
• Bending sheet metal based on working drawings and technical specifications
• Checking dimensions and quality of bent products
• Resetting the machine for new tasks
• Identifying and resolving minor technical deviations
• Collaborating with colleagues from the laser, welding, and grinding departments

• Proven experience on the 3 meter press brake - required
• Able to read and interpret working drawings
• Accurate, results-oriented work attitude with adaptability
• Willing to continuously improve
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language

• Gross hourly wage of €16.17 - €24.23 (indication based on experience)
• 5% ADV surcharge on the first 40 hours per week
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km
• Weekly payment
• 25 vacation days per year, based on full-time
• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable salary
• Minimum 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime up to 55 hours per week
• Working hours: day shift, Friday until 14:30
