Engineer Exterior

Within the yachtbuilding industry we are looking for Exterior Engineers. As an Exterior Engineer, you will be jointly responsible for a coordinated, high-quality, and timely elaboration of the final design of a Feadship.

In your daily activities, you will be responsible for, among other things, detailed engineering, 3D models, and various datasheets of the project assigned to your team.

• Integration of yacht equipment and exterior doors with other disciplines
• seamlessly integrating them into the exterior design
• Integration of shaftline and steering systems
• Elaboration of deck, ceiling, teak, and railing arrangements
• Elaboration of local arrangements such as exterior furniture, exterior stairs, exterior pillars, exterior masts, exterior sun awnings
• For the elaboration of arrangements, you will receive input from a designer/suppliers, which needs to be assessed for feasibility and feasibility.
• For integration tasks, you will have close contact with engineers and senior engineers from other engineering disciplines.

• Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education.
• Have relevant work experience in a similar role in yacht construction and/or interior construction.
• Knowledge of production techniques and experience with the feasibility of engineered parts
• Good command of the English language
• Experienced with Solid Edge, Solidworks, NX, Teamcenter or AutoCAD
