Full-time Warehouse Worker – Ridderkerk

As a warehouse worker, you are an essential link in the logistics process at Van Gelder Fruit & Vegetables. You’ll work in a modern and chilled environment surrounded by fresh produce. Your daily tasks are varied: from lifting boxes and stacking them on pallets to carefully packing ready-made salads according to clear instructions. You ensure everything runs smoothly and keep your workstation and the production area clean. You’ll also use sharp tools like knives and machines, where safety always comes first. Together with your colleagues, you keep up the pace and maintain a positive team vibe.

• Lifting and stacking boxes on pallets

• Working according to safety and hygiene regulations
  You work full-time in a 2-shift system. The shifts run from Monday through Sunday, with working hours between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM. The temperature on the work floor is around 7°C (about 45°F).

• You speak and understand Dutch or English at a communicative level
• You are available full-time for shift work
• You are comfortable working in a chilled environment (about 45°F/7°C)
• You follow safety and hygiene instructions carefully
• Experience as a warehouse worker, logistics worker, or production worker is a plus
• You live within 50 km of Ridderkerk
