Step into the heart of horticulture as a Greenhouse Worker in Rotterdam. Your day-to-day tasks will vary, keeping you engaged and active. You'll be working both in the "warehouse part" of the greenhouse complex and amongst the lush greenery. Expect to plant small plants into trays while sitting, as well as tend to larger plants through controlling, replanting, and weeding. This part of your role will require some physical activity, including walking, picking up trays, and bending over. The environment is busy, full of natural light, and a great place to thrive if you enjoy working with plants.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planting and transplanting seedlings
- Weeding and maintaining plant health
- Quality control of plant growth
- General maintenance of the greenhouse environment
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Working six days a week, with Saturday sometimes being a working day
Typically, your workday will start early, with standard shifts, and may occasionally include weekend work for extra pay.
