For our Human Resources Department in Hoofddorp, we are looking for an HR Business Partner with strong knowledge of Dutch employment law and experience in an international organisation.

As HR Business Partner, you will be part of our international HR team of ten colleagues based in Hoofddorp and Aberdeen. You play a key role in shaping our people strategy, supporting managers, and contributing to a culture where people can grow and perform at their best.
With offices in Hoofddorp and Aberdeen, and project locations worldwide, we support a diverse international workforce representing more than 26 nationalities.

In this role, you will work closely with management and employees across the organisation to:

  • Build strong relationships that enable the delivery of professional, value-adding HR services
  • Drive the annual HR cycle, including performance management and compensation & benefits, and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Implement and further develop corporate HR processes and policies, ensuring they meet business needs
  • Provide expert advice to management on employee relations, performance management, absence management, talent development, and compensation & benefits
  • Handle complex employee relations matters with confidence and professionalism
  • Partner with managers on recruitment strategy to attract and retain top-tier talent
  • Participate in HR projects as agreed with Management Team and Corporate HR
  • Provide HR support as part of the company's emergency response organisation
Requirements

We are looking for a great communicator with strong organisational skills. You are able to initiate improvements and solve complex issues for which helicopter view, in-depth expertise and good understanding of the business (context) are necessary. You take ownership and are reliable in delivering results, you think and act across boundaries of responsibilities and you influence cooperation and ambiance in a positive way.

Furthermore you:
- are a certified HR professional and hold at least a bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent.
- have proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar advisory role.
- have sound knowledge of Dutch labour law (which is essential for this position), HR best practices and industry trends.
- are fluent in both Dutch and English.
- proven experience in leading (whole or parts of) HR projects within an international organization.
- have experience with HR and Payroll systems, preferably ADP (iHCM2)
- have effective influencing and communication skills at all levels within the organisation.
