Informatie

You are not looking for an IT role where you simply work through tickets. You want autonomy, a close-knit team that depends on one another, and an environment where you can combine hands-on support with ownership of local IT projects. As a IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer at Bausch + Lomb in Schiphol-Rijk, you will find exactly that: trust, international collaboration, and a visible role at a site where your expertise makes a difference every day. In return, you can expect a varied work week, the freedom to organise your work effectively, and the opportunity to further develop your skills in support, infrastructure, and project delivery.

In this role, you ensure that colleagues in both the office and warehouse can carry on with their work without disruption. Without your support, incidents remain unresolved, hardware replacements are delayed, and users miss the IT assistance they rely on. This means you do more than solve day-to-day issues. You help keep the entire workplace operational and contribute to new on-site IT solutions. As a result, this is not a narrow support position, but a broad and varied IT role that combines operational responsibility with project work. For example, our warehouse will soon relocate to a new site in Aalsmeer, where your expertise will also play an important part.

To succeed in this position, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting local infrastructure, including Active Directory, DHCP, VPN, VMware, backups, and network connectivity
  • Resolving IT queries and incidents through the ticketing system related to workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and end users
  • Installing, configuring, and replacing hardware and software within a Windows environment
  • Contributing to local and international IT projects, such as workstation replacements, telephony, meeting rooms, and the setup of a new facility
