They started in 2018 together with their first client. They launched an artisanal frozen snack concept, which allowed them to clearly distinguish themselves from other providers. For this purpose, a new packaging line was set up that is efficient and guarantees a high output. Over the past few years, our client has continued to grow, and the number of packaging lines has now been significantly expanded.

With six different production lines, they can meet almost any desired packaging process.

About the job

As a Line Operator, you are responsible for executing planned packaging activities in line with strict quality and quantity standards. You are the driving force behind a well-organised and high-performing packaging line.

What you will do

  • Ensure products are packed, labelled, and made shipment-ready according to instructions;
  • Monitor quality and quantity throughout the process and perform interim and final checks;
  • Carry out required controls and registrations in line with IFS guidelines;
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and allergen procedures;
  • Coordinate and guide colleagues on the line based on instructions from the supervisor;
  • Identify deviations, quality issues, or hygiene risks and report them immediately;
  • Resolve minor issues independently and escalate technical or process problems when needed;
  • Prepare installations for production by correctly setting machine parameters (e.g. foil cutting points, speed, expiry dates, vacuum settings);
  • Keep a close eye on materials and report shortages in a timely manner;
  • Actively contribute to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
Who are you
  • Knowledge of machine setup and operation within a packaging environment;
  • Strong understanding of hygiene rules, allergen management, and food safety standards;
  • Experience with quality controls and production registrations;
  • A proactive mindset and a strong sense of responsibility;
  • The ability to work accurately under direct (mostly verbal) instructions;
  • Good communication skills and a collegial attitude;
  • Confidence to address colleagues or visitors when hygiene rules are not followed.
What we offer you
  • A supportive team that's excited to welcome you;
  • Internal training;
  • Potential for a permanent contract after 12 months;
  • Career growth within a fast-growing company;
  • A net monthly salary of €1400 after deducting rent and health insurance;
  • 25 paid vacation days and 8% holiday allowance;
  • Private accommodation in a shared house with colleagues;
  • Free daily transport to and from work;
  • Full assistance with obtaining your BSN number (citizen service number).
