Introductie

You will be working for an international service company based in Breda, part of a global group with more than 40 locations and 2,000 employees. In the Benelux, they are the market leader in brand-independent repair and service of electric motors, servo motors, generators, and drive systems.

The organization serves customers in various sectors — from shipbuilding and e-mobility to packaging and textile machines. Quality, speed, and technical depth are central. You will work in a professional workshop environment with modern tools, alongside motivated colleagues who love their craft as much as you do.

Wat je gaat doen:

As a Mechanical Technician, your work revolves around the mechanical overhaul of electric motors. You completely disassemble motors, inspect the parts for wear and damage, and then skillfully reassemble them. The focus is on the mechanical part — think of bearings, rotors, shafts, and housings. Electrical engineering knowledge is a plus but not a requirement.

After repair, you test the motor to ensure it functions optimally. You accurately document your work and findings and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve workshop processes.

It is hands-on work for someone with a keen eye for detail and a true technician mentality. Experience as an auto mechanic or in a similar mechanical role is a good foundation for this position.

Tasks:

  • Disassembling and assembling electric motors
  • Inspecting and diagnosing mechanical wear and damage
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Testing motors after repair for optimal operation
  • Accurately documenting performed work and findings
  • Collaborating with colleagues on process improvement in the workshop
Wat wij vragen:
  • Proven mechanical work experience, for example as an auto mechanic or in industry
  • Sense of precision and attention to detail when working with technical components
  • Accurate and safe work attitude
  • Ability to work independently but also function well in a team
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or English language (oral and written)
Wat wij bieden:

Financial conditions:

  • Gross hourly wage of €18.03
  • 5% ADV surcharge on the first 40 hours
  • 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per km

Other conditions:

  • Weekly payment
  • 25 vacation days per year (based on full-time)
  • Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pension basis
  • Minimum 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime
  • Working hours: 07:00 - 15:30

Extra services (optional):

  • Housing with private bedroom possible
  • Health insurance possible
