About LEDCity

We are a cleantech start-up founded in Zurich, with the goal of reducing energy consumption in the lighting sector worldwide by 80%. To achieve this, we are developing a globally deployable lighting system that uses sensors to control the lighting according to demand.

About the role 

LEDCity is looking for a passionate Sales Manager to join the team in Zurich on hybrid basis, who can contribute to the company’s growth and profitability by achieving sales targets and successfully acquire new customers across Swiss market.

  • Responsible for sales and pricing; identify the needs of our customers in the market and derive the appropriate offers based on them.
  • Conduct ongoing technical and product related competitive analysis and market assessment with recommendations for market growth opportunities.
  • Expand and acquire new customer base and build long-term business relationships with customers and serve as their primary point of contact, even after project completion.
  • Coordinate where necessary the acquisition and the project and provide specialist support from within the organization.
  • With passion, customer orientation and negotiating skills, you convince customers to save energy and successfully close deals.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years proven track record of sales experience – B2B strongly preferred.
  • A well-maintained network in Switzerland (Real Estate or construction will be a strong plus).
  • You have excellent written and oral German and/or French skills, Swiss German (strongly preferred) and a good command of English.
  • You are outgoing: With your friendly manner and persuasiveness, you can convince potential customers of saving energy.
  • Start-up and hands-on mentality, flexibility and a strong willingness to learn.
  • You are interested in sustainability and the latest technologies.
  • You are a University graduate – ideally in electrical engineering and information technology, environmental engineering, building automation, facility management, and business administration.
