Transport Planner

As a transport planner, you play an important role in ensuring that transport runs smoothly, so that the right goods arrive at the customer on time and in good condition. Your tasks include:

• Accepting, coordinating and organising shipments.
• Purchasing transport services competitively and optimising shipments.
• Drawing up and preparing transport documents.
• Preparing and sending quotations.
• Supervising shipments from start to finish.
• You will work Monday to Friday during daytime hours.

The company you will be working for is a large international family business that provides logistics services and is located in the Amsterdam Westpoort area.

For the position of Transport Planner in Amsterdam, we require the following:

• Knowledge of logistics and some work experience are considered advantages.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage.
• You have a customer- and quality-oriented attitude and are able to organise your own work well.
• A sense of responsibility and accuracy are important in this position.
• It is important that you are able to travel independently to Amsterdam Westpoort.

• A salary between €2650.00 and €3750.00 gross per month, depending on experience.
• 25 days' holiday
