Informatie

Multicraft is op zoek naar een Design Engineer CAD voor in de regio Amsterdam.

As a **Design Engineer CAD**, the role involves transforming innovative ideas into both basic and detailed machine designs. This position is central to the concept and definition phases of product development, requiring close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality designs, bills of materials (BOMs), and documentation for serial production. All work is integrated into a product configurator and applied globally in high-performance industrial settings.

Experience in engineering and production environments is essential, along with a solid understanding of stakeholder dynamics and objectives.

Beyond technical contributions, this role also includes mentoring and supporting colleagues. A strong focus on manufacturability, hygiene, safety, and cost-efficiency is key to enhancing every stage of the design process—from initial sketches to the final technical dossier.

This position offers significant technical depth and variety, with frequent new challenges and the opportunity to work on machines that are integral to a global, high-tech industry. Responsibilities include participation in FAT/SAT processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing as a product design expert during the concept phase.

Additionally, the role includes occasional international travel (approximately 2–4 trips per year) to visit production sites and collaborate directly with global customers and partners. This adds a real-world dimension to the work and enhances the impact of each project.
