As an Assembly Technician Computer Hardware, your main responsibilities include:
- Unpacking computer equipment
- Opening and disassembling systems
- Installing security modules
- Properly reassembling systems and components
- Functionally testing modified equipment
- Filling out inspection and checklist forms
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
What does your workday look like? You start your day by unpacking incoming hardware and carefully disassembling it. Next, you install security solutions, reassemble everything neatly, and test to ensure everything works as it should.
