Anak Depok is an authentic Indonesian restaurant in Den Dolder (Utrecht). The restaurant has been around for more than 30 years and is known for its traditional Indonesian dishes and warm hospitality. After a period of closure, we are giving Anak Depok a fresh start and building an enthusiastic team to continue this culinary tradition.

Tasks

What will you do?

As a cook, you are responsible for the (pre)preparation and presentation of dishes and dish components. You work according to fixed instructions regarding ingredients, recipes, working methods, and visual presentation.

Your duties include preparing and cooking dishes according to established recipes and procedures. You check the quality of ingredients, carry out preparatory tasks such as washing, cutting, and portioning, and apply basic cooking techniques. In addition, you regularly check the taste, doneness, and presentation of dishes and ensure that each dish meets the required quality standards before it is passed on. You work in accordance with HACCP guidelines, maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace, and collaborate closely with your kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

MBO level 2/3 working and thinking level. Flexible, stress-resistant, and professional work attitude. Team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility. Willing to work evenings and weekends.

Benefits

Salary in accordance with the Horeca Collective Labour Agreement (CAO). Gross monthly salary between €2,463 and €2,778, depending on experience (based on 38 hours per week). Tips.
