Die-Cutting Operator

Are you an experienced die-cutting operator who can set up a machine perfectly in no time? Then this is the place for you. You make sure the die-cutting machines run efficiently and deliver top quality. Day shifts, with plenty of responsibility and room to train colleagues.

You will be working for an international manufacturer of packaging. The site in Breda produces packaging for a wide range of customers, with a modern machine park and a strong focus on safety, quality and continuity.

The organisation is flat, and the atmosphere is open and informal. You have direct lines with your supervisor, the technical department and your colleagues on the floor. There is room for personal growth: through training and courses you keep developing in your profession. You work independently, but you are never on your own.

As a die-cutting operator, you are responsible for efficiently changing over, setting up and running the die-cutting machines. This is a role for someone who already masters the trade. Based on work orders, you set up the machine correctly and independently for each new order. During production, you keep a close eye on quality and adjust the machine when needed.

The work has a steady rhythm: set up, run, check. Because you regularly change over for new orders, no two days are exactly the same. You handle minor breakdowns and basic maintenance yourself. You actively think along about how the process can be faster, better or safer.

With your experience, you also play a role in guiding and training new colleagues. You share your knowledge, show how things are done and make sure everyone works safely. For you, safety regulations are not a formality but second nature.

Your tasks:

• Changing over and correctly setting up die-cutting machines according to work orders
• Operating machines and keeping production running efficiently
• Checking quality and adjusting the machine independently
• Carrying out basic maintenance and solving minor breakdowns yourself
• Contributing to process improvements
• Guiding and training new colleagues

• 3-5 years of experience as a die-cutting operator or in a similar role, including changing over and setting up production machines
• Technical insight and an eye for quality
• Knowledge of safety regulations, and you apply them consistently
• You take responsibility, are flexible and enjoy helping colleagues
• You work independently and solve problems yourself
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• In possession of an EU passport — a residence permit is not sufficient

• Gross hourly wage between €17.00 and €18.00, depending on experience

• 8% holiday allowance, paid weekly

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km

• Weekly salary payment

• 25 holiday days

• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable salary

• 40-hour working week, day shift from 08:30 to 17:00. Overtime possible by agreement, with an 8% allowance calculated on the basic hourly wage
