EXPERIENCED PIPE FITTERS

For a long-term infrastructure project in Rijswijk / Leiden, The Netherlands, JOBWELL B.V. is looking for several experienced Pipe Fitters. The project starts in Week 32 or Week 33. If you have experience in pipeline construction and working with large-diameter steel pipes, we would like to hear from you.

As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting and assembling large-diameter district heating pipelines. You will prepare, align and fit steel pipe sections for installation and welding.

Your responsibilities include:

• Fitting and assembling district heating pipeline systems.
• Working with large-diameter carbon steel pipes.
• Measuring, aligning and fitting pipe sections for Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations.
• Reading and interpreting technical and isometric drawings.
• Grinding, beveling and preparing steel pipes for welding.
• Working with grinders, external pipe alignment clamps and lifting equipment such as cranes.
• Cooperating with welders, machine operators and site supervisors.

• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in pipeline construction, district heating, industrial projects or the oil and gas industry.
• Extensive experience fitting large-diameter steel pipelines.
• Ability to independently read and interpret technical and isometric drawings.
• Experience with grinding, beveling, cutting, fitting and aligning steel pipes.
• Valid VCA or SCC certificate.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good command of English or German.
