About the Role
In this strategic procurement position, you will collaborate closely with global, regional, and local commercial teams to ensure the availability, effectiveness, and sustainability of commercial equipment-such as fridges and draught beer installations-at point-of-sale locations. You will be responsible for developing supplier partnerships, optimizing asset management practices, and delivering value through data-driven and commercially focused sourcing strategies.
Responsibilities
Commercial Excellence (65%)
- Collaborate with Sales teams globally to understand commercial needs and drive deployment of relevant assets;
- Support outlet performance through smart equipment allocation, brand alignment, and ROI-focused decision-making;
- Improve asset lifecycle management, including refurbishment, tracking, and spare parts;
- Utilize data and digital tools (e.g., telemetry, tracking) to enhance asset usage and performance;
- Maintain close alignment with stakeholders to ensure localized relevance and executional feasibility.
Supplier Partnerships & Procurement (25%)
- Lead negotiations and establish strategic agreements with suppliers;
- Foster supplier relationships that enable innovation, quality, and supply reliability;
- Implement supplier governance and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Ensure procurement best practices across operating companies, leveraging scale and harmonization.
Sustainability Leadership (10%)
- Contribute to the transition toward energy-efficient equipment in line with sustainability goals;
- Engage suppliers in reducing environmental impact and Scope 3 emissions;
- Monitor and report progress on carbon reduction initiatives within the category.
For this exciting role in Amsterdam we are offering a monthly salary of around €7500,- gross per month based on 40 hours. It is also possible to fill the role as a freelancer at a rate of up to €90,- per hour.

What You Bring
* University degree;

* Experience with durable assets, cold equipment, or point-of-sale systems is an advantage;
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
