Informatie

Are you a cook and at your best in the kitchen? As a cook, you feel responsible for the preparation and plating of dishes and dish components. You work under the supervision of our head chef or owner, but you can also keep the kitchen running on your own. Additionally, you collaborate with your fellow cook and supervise kitchen assistants when necessary. You work according to fixed instructions regarding ingredients, recipes, working methods, and presentation. You work on weekends and are available during the day and in the evening. The working hours and schedule are flexible.

Tasks

– Selecting and preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)

– Performing interim checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and making adjustments where necessary;

– Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene;

– Maintaining stock levels, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries;

– Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations;

– Reporting technical defects and resolving simple malfunctions;

– Providing input regarding the composition and modification of menus, the menu, and methods.

– You take independent initiative and act in a solution-oriented manner.

– You work with conviction and dare to take responsibility.

– MBO-3 working and thinking level
– Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
