We are the Chinese-Indonesian Restaurant "Peking" and we are looking for a passionate Independent Chef I to join our kitchen team. Do you have a passion for cooking and enjoy a dynamic kitchen environment? Then you would be a perfect fit! You will help prepare dishes and work closely with our kitchen team. You are able to work both independently and as part of a team, and you take responsibility for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Our restaurant is located at Burgemeester Wuiteweg 29, 9203 KA Drachten. Interested candidates can contact Mr.Yeh
TasksYour Responsibilities:
- Selecting and preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)
- Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and making adjustments as needed.
- Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
- Supervising the work of kitchen assistants and making corrections where necessary.
- Keeping track of stock levels, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries.
- Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations.
- Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
- Providing input regarding the composition and adjustments of menus, the menu list, and working methods
Job Requirements:
- You take independent initiative and act solution-oriented.
- You work with conviction and dare to take responsibility.
- MBO-3 work and thinking level (If you don't meet the requirements, apply anyway!)
- Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Job Type: Full-time
