Join our pioneering team in AI-powered airport operations, where you'll play a crucial role in preventing delays and enhancing efficiency at global airports. As an Infrastructure Engineer at Schiphol Group, you'll be at the forefront of transforming aircraft turnaround processes using cutting-edge AI technology.

Your role in our team

As an Infrastructure Engineer for Deep Turnaround, you'll be responsible for maintaining and scaling our AI-driven infrastructure. Your work will directly impact airport operations worldwide, preventing cascading delays and improving critical processes. In this hands-on role, you'll:

  • Architect and implement solutions for current and future challenges
  • Maintain and optimize Azure and Kubernetes infrastructure
  • Deploy and integrate new tools for engineers and scientists
  • Assist with cloud, on-premise, and CI/CD issues
  • Replace legacy components with scalable, modern alternatives
  • Collaborate with Schiphol teams and clients to enhance product performance
What we're looking for

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of professional engineering experience
  • Advanced experience with Azure and Kubernetes (AKS), including networking
  • Proficiency in ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize, and Kubernetes tooling
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and/or GitHub
  • Strong skills in infrastructure automation with Terraform and/or Ansible
  • Experience deploying applications consistently in cloud and on-premises environments
