As a Medior Integration & Support Engineer at Cleverbase, you'll help customers successfully integrate with our digital identity platform while contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

Every day we issue more than 500 digital identity wallets through a highly secure onboarding process recognized by the European Union at the highest assurance level. These wallets enable users to securely log in, digitally sign contracts and verify their identity online.

As a Medior Integration & Support Engineer, you'll help external customers successfully integrate with our services.

You'll be the primary technical contact for onboarding, integration support and incident management. Your role combines technical problem-solving with customer communication, allowing you to translate technical challenges into sustainable improvements within our platform.

Besides supporting customers, you'll also implement software changes within our JVM-based applications and contribute to improving the stability and scalability of our services.

• Guide customers and partners through onboarding and technical integrations.
• Support API integrations and implementation projects.
• Troubleshoot integration issues involving APIs, configuration, authentication and logging.
• Handle change requests from analysis and design through implementation, testing and deployment.
• Improve documentation, runbooks and integration guides.
• Help optimize platform stability, scalability and operational processes.
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding progress, expectations and technical dependencies.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects and other technical specialists.

You're technically skilled, customer-oriented and enjoy combining software engineering with technical consultancy.

You also have:

• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Experience building or supporting API integrations.
• Strong understanding of tokens, claims, scopes, redirects and JWKS.
• Experience troubleshooting authentication and integration issues.
• Experience supporting external customers or integration partners.
• Experience developing software within a JVM environment using Java, Kotlin or Scala.
• Experience working with pull requests and code reviews.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

Experience with any of the following is considered a plus:

• Identity Providers such as Auth0, Keycloak, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Amazon Cognito.
• JWT.
• Key rotation.
• Security configuration.
• Integration documentation.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• Release management.
