Integration Engineer

Als Integration Engineer bij Van den Bosch zorg jij ervoor dat onze interne en externe softwaresystemen naadloos met elkaar communiceren. Je wordt onderdeel van team IT en werkt vanuit ons hoofdkantoor in Erp. Met jouw technische expertise en analytische skills draag je direct bij aan de efficiëntie, stabiliteit en innovatie binnen onze organisatie.

Jij als integration engineer bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van integratieoplossingen binnen het applicatielandschap. Je zet vereisten om naar concrete technische oplossingen, waarbij je rekening houdt met de wensen van de betrokken partijen. Je ontwerpt, bouwt, test, documenteert en biedt UAT-ondersteuning. Gedurende het ontwikkeltraject behoud jij het overzicht en informeer je de betrokkenen. Je adviseert vanuit je expertise omtrent integratieoplossingen.Het is dus aan jou om te zorgen voor optimale prestaties en stabiliteit om onze bedrijfsactiviteiten te ondersteunen. Je vervult een adviserende rol op het gebied van technologieën, processen en trends omtrent integraties en hebt een heldere visie op integratie architectuur. Wij werken bij Van den Bosch met Seeburger. Ervaring hierin is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste.

• Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in vergelijkbare rol
• Ervaring met enterprise architecture
• Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal
• Ervaring met SOAP/REST webapplicaties en data formats zoals XML, JSON en EDIFACT
• Je hebt sterke analytische en communicatieve vaardigheden

As an Integration Engineer at Van den Bosch, you ensure that our internal and external software systems communicate seamlessly. You will be part of the IT team and work from our headquarters in Erp. With your technical expertise and analytical skills, you will directly contribute to efficiency, stability, and innovation within our organisation.

In this role, you are responsible for designing, developing, and managing integration solutions that enable data to flow safely, reliably, and in real time between systems. You work closely with both IT colleagues and business stakeholders to ensure integrations align with the needs of the organisation. Throughout the entire development process—from analysis to implementation, including testing and documentation—you maintain oversight and provide clarity. You safeguard the quality of data exchange, ensure that systems communicate effectively, and act proactively when issues arise or optimisation opportunities present themselves. In addition, you will play a key role in the transition to a new integration platform over the coming years.

You also take on an advisory role, contributing your ideas on integration architecture, best practices, and technological developments. You play an active part in further professionalising our integration landscape and ensure that all solutions comply with security and regulatory requirements. Although we use Seeburger at Van den Bosch, experience with this platform is not required, you will have the opportunity to learn it with us.

• Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in ICT, Informatics, or Computer Science
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with enterprise architecture
• Strong command of both Dutch and English
• Experience with SOAP/REST web applications and data formats such as XML, JSON, and EDIFACT
• Strong analytical and communication skills
