Junior Production Operator Food Industry – 3 Shifts – Bergschenhoek

As a Junior Production Operator at Snack Connection in Bergschenhoek, you are an essential part of our daily production process. Each day, you’ll operate and monitor packaging machines to ensure our nut-based snacks maintain the highest quality. Your focus on accuracy and efficiency helps keep the production line running smoothly and safely. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting minor issues, performing quality checks, and handling routine maintenance on equipment.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring packaging machines to keep the production line moving
• Performing quality checks to ensure all products meet our standards
• Carrying out routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
• Quickly solving simple technical issues to prevent downtime
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
• Keeping your work area organized and hygienic

You’ll work full-time in a 3-shift system from Monday to Friday. The shifts are:

• Morning: 6:00 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
• Afternoon: 2:00 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.
• Night: 10:00 p.m. – 6:45 a.m.

Occasional weekend work may be required, with extra pay for those shifts.

• At least 0-1 year of recent experience in production, preferably as an operator or in the food industry
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot simple packaging machinery
• Good spoken English skills to communicate with your team and understand instructions
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and occasionally on weekends
• Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Living within 20 km of Bergschenhoek or willing to commute

• Starting salary from €18,55 per hour,
• 19% shift allowance for working in 3 shifts
• Extra pay: +30% for Saturdays, +100% for public holidays
