The hard work is done. The lights are on, machines are running. And you, as a (Lead) Electrical Engineer, were there from the start, creating this fantastic result. All of it was based on a great collaboration, without you and your colleagues this would have never been possible. Together you have delivered a new superyacht, exactly as the customer envisioned.

You played an important part in this project, developing digital plans into a realistic picture. Working in this dynamic world feels so familiar to you, because you know how to handle the pressure.

Tasks
  • Creating and adjusting electrical drawings/overviews based on the specifications,
    taking into account all applicable requirements
  • Checking drawings and calculations and ensuring that they comply with a practical and feasible construction plan; making plans and reports
  • Selecting and purchasing the needed materials for various projects;
  • Consultation with parties involved about the progress of the project and the challenges you may face; analyzing and solving malfunctions
Requirements

In the dynamic world of yacht and shipbuilding you need to have a go-getter mentality and a flexible attitude. You are not impressed by sudden changes and hectic situations. You are a strong communicator with regard to both colleagues and suppliers, keeping your focus on the customer’s needs.

In addition, you preferably have:

  • A completed Bsc or Msc degree in Electrical engineering or similar;
  • Several years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in offshore or shipbuilding;
  • You have knowledge of Autocad and preferably See Electrical or Eplan;
  • You have strong communication skills in English, both in speaking and writing. Dutch is a preference
  • EU citizenship required
