Functieomschrijving
We are looking for a motivated Shunter Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. This is a specialized driving position — not a warehouse role — and requires professional driving skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks with a valid CE driving licence and Code 95 certification.
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to keep the truck in good working condition.
- Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured.
- Complete all required delivery documents and administrative tasks.
- Communicate effectively with planners, customers, and colleagues.
- Report any technical issues, incidents, or violations immediately.
Additional Information:
- Don’t have a CE licence and Code 95 certification yet? The company will provide the necessary training and certification.
- Candidates who receive company-sponsored training must commit to staying in the role for at least two years.
Functie-eisen
- In possession of a CE driving licence and Code 95 certification, or willing to obtain them through the company.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in goods transportation (is an advantage).
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Physically fit to carry out loading and unloading tasks.
- Flexible availability, including evening and weekend shifts if required.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- Hourly wage: €17.30 gross, excluding allowances.
- Vacation days: 25 days per year.
- Pension plan provided by the company.
- Holiday allowance: 8.33% of the annual gross salary.
