Logistics Worker

For a specialist in sheet metal and welding constructions in Heeze, we are looking for a logistics employee who ensures a smooth flow of goods, from receipt to dispatch. A crucial role within a technical family business with a long track record.

You will be working at a family-owned business in Heeze, specializing in sheet metal and welding constructions. The company manufactures components from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum for various sectors such as agribusiness, machinery, transport & logistics, and amusement & attraction construction. With experienced professionals, engineers, and the latest techniques (laser cutting, bending, machining, certified welding, and robotic welding), high-quality custom solutions are developed, from design to production.

As a logistics employee, you are responsible for efficiently and effectively executing logistical processes within the company. You report to the logistics foreman and play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods. Your tasks include internal logistics (picking and booking orders, placing them in buffer zones), receiving goods (unloading, quality control, booking, and storing), shipping (preparing pallets, transportation, labeling, and packaging), and other tasks such as time registration, cleaning the department, and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts. You will also occasionally handle goods transport with a small van. Work is done in two shifts: a morning shift (Mon-Thu 06:00-15:00, Fri 06:00-12:30) and a day shift (Mon-Thu 07:30-16:35, Fri 07:30-14:30).

• Picking and processing orders according to the planning system
• Receiving, checking, and storing goods
• Preparing pallets and handling transports to customers and suppliers
• Labeling and packaging according to customer requirements
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified)
• Transporting goods with a small van
• Maintaining an orderly and safe warehouse

• Experience as a logistics employee
• Good handling of computers and systems
• Quality-conscious and attention to detail
• Forklift certificate is a plus
• Driving license B required
• Flexible, stress-resistant and a team player
• Good command of Dutch and/or English language (oral and written)

• Gross hourly wage: from € 17.00 (depending on experience)
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km
• Weekly payment
• 24 vacation days per year
• Pension accrual of 23.4% of the pensionable salary
• 2 shifts possible: morning shift (Mon-Thu 06:00-15:00, Fri 06:00-12:30) or day shift (Mon-Thu 07:30-16:35, Fri 07:30-14:30)
